A-Hole in One: Donald Trump Fights to Kill Wind Farm to Protect View From Golf Course
Presidential wannabe, Donald Trump, lost a court battle in Scotland to stop an offshore wind farm from being developed in sight of "Trump International Golf Links", a luxury golf course he built in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Trump said of the once natural shoreline he "blessed" with his glitzy presence: "I have never seen such an unspoiled and dramatic seaside landscape and the location makes it perfect for our development.”
Trump is appealing the lower court ruling against him and taking his legal battle to the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.
The business tycoon apparently sees no irony in the fact that he can decide when to interrupt the natural view, but tell everyone else when they can not. Imagine what good a billionaire like him could do, if he wasn't such a self serving hypocrite.
Katie Herzog from Grist sums up the situation perfectly:
"It’s unclear why anyone would see an unspoiled and dramatic seaside landscape and think, you know what this needs, a fucking golf course.”
Come on America, is this really the best Presidential material we can conjure up?
