    Mother Nature Shows Off Her Art World Cred With Ice Circle Outside Seattle

    I've always thought nature creates the best "performance" art.  If only we noticed the wonder of mother earth's captivating "installation" more often.  

     

    Case in point was an Ice Circle captured spinning on the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River outside Seattle, Washington by photographer Kaylyn Messer who captured the phenomena before it disappeared (see pic above).  She shot a video which you can see below.

     

    Very cool.   Reminded me of Scottish artist  Andy Goldsworthy  who creates some awesome art in and with nature.  One of my favorites is his brilliant floating "sculptures" made with leaves that dissaear as they float down the river or stream.

     

    But I have to say, Mother's own Ice Circle captured beautifully by Kaylyn Messer gives Andy Goldsworthy  a run for the nature art money.
