Made in New York: Bourbon and Moonshine from Kings County Distillery in Brooklyn, NYC

No locavore diet plan is complete without access to some locally made beverages. And having access to some locally made bourbon and moonshine makes the situation sweet if you imbibe the hard stuff.

Enter Kings County Distillery, New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since prohibition. The distillery was founded in 2010 by Colin Spoelman and David Haskell who make handmade moonshine and bourbon out of the 114-year-old Paymaster Building in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
